From Outperformance to Opportunity Cost

It was almost a market cheat code for companies to announce the creation of a crypto “strategic reserve,” following in the footsteps of Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy). Those announcements sent shares soaring, sometimes by thousands of percent. These companies have since been opportunity cost, and the question is: whats next? Strategy’s outperformance peaked the day after $IBIT options launched. If there’s no sustained edge left, what’s now the purpose of these treasury companies? I don’t have an answer but I’m sure the market is asking the same thing, and the charts are a reflection of this indecision. Are crypto treasury companies dead or just in a period of consolidation before their next move higher?
